Job Description: Quality Lead

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to drive quality initiatives and maintain high standards in our CNC machining environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ISO standards and audits, as well as proficiency in performing various inspections and utilizing inspection tools.

ResponsibilitiesLead quality initiatives.Ensure compliance with ISO standards and audits.Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections.Document dimensions using standard procedures and customer requirements (PPAP, corrective actions).Read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches accurately.Inspect machine parts and products using necessary inspection tools.Inspect parts to customer blueprints using GD&T.Utilize CMM, Microvu, and other inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).Conduct casting layout inspections.Assist machinists with quality issues.Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve problems.Take on additional duties as needed.Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.Essential SkillsExperience in CNC machining.Knowledge of quality control and assurance.Proficiency in inspection techniques and tools.Experience with ISO 9001 standards and audits.Strong written and oral communication skills.Self-motivated and able to work independently.Ability to lead quality initiatives.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CMM and MicroVu equipment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches.Casting layout experience.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00
