Quality Lead
LDRM delivers essential operations management and professional records management services to the Department of State on the Visa Support Services Contract. LDRM seeks a Quality Control Specialist(s) (QCS) Lead who has subject-matter knowledge and utilizes judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The QCS Lead selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures or engaging the Quality Manager where necessary. The QCS Lead will assign and track daily workloads of other QCS to ensure that department deliverables are completed accurately and timely. The QCS Lead will also assist Quality Analysts in other administrative tasks including verifying inspections. The successful candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills and be detail oriented and data driven. **Responsibilities** + Assist in a variety of administrative matters, maintaining a wide variety of records. + Perform inspection verifications against a pre-determined set of quality standard. + Perform inspections on lots to assure work meets or exceeds customer requirements or that the appropriate actions are taken in rejecting the lot for rework and issue feedback to the appropriate functional area. + Assign and track daily workloads of other quality staff to ensure quality deliverables are completed. + Engage with quality staff where necessary to ensure accurate work completion. **Qualifications** + Previous experience performing inspections in a production environment. + 1-2 years of experience in quality control/quality analysis is required. + Basic computer skills with working knowledge in Excel. + Must be detail oriented and have a high level of attention-to-detail. + Demonstrate administrative and organizational skills. + Strong command of the English language both verbally and written. + Good interpersonal and communication skills. + Demonstrate a professional work ethic. + Ability to work independently and as a member of the team. + Must successfully complete a computer-based assessment on typing skills with a score of 85% accuracy and 20 words per minute (WPM). + Must successfully complete a computer-based assessment on basic computer skills with a score of 70%. + High School diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or higher preferred). + U.S. citizenship. + Ability to successfully complete a corporate background investigation, including credit and criminal checks. + Ability to obtain and maintain a secret government security clearance. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Strong administrative and organizational skills. + Basic computer skills. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Demonstrate a professional work ethic. + Ability to work independently and as a member of the team. + Analytical skills to successfully analyze and evaluate data. + Ability to disseminate information to a wide audience. **Physical Demands:** + While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be required to stand; walk; sit; lift; bend; reach; carry; stoop; kneel; use hand and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; speak; or hear.
