Job Description

As a Quality Management and Methods (QMM) Engineer at Bosch, your role will involve ensuring that the company's semiconductor products used in automotive applications meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and guidelines specific to the automotive industry, as well as identifying and resolving any quality issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

Facilitating PFMEAs and overseeing the change control/technical review board processDeveloping and implementing quality control plans and procedures for semiconductor products used in automotive applications.Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and regulations, such as ISO9001, IATF 16949.Analyzing data and conducting statistical analysis to identify trends or patterns that may indicate quality issues. Cross functional preparation of reaction and response plans (OCAP)Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and suppliers, to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.Conducting root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of quality issues and implementing preventive measures.Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of quality control measures and making recommendations for improvements.Developing and maintaining quality documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions specific to automotive quality requirements.Training employees on automotive quality control procedures and best practices.Participating in the design and development of new semiconductor products for automotive applications, ensuring that quality requirements are met.Keeping up to date with automotive industry standards and regulations related to semiconductor quality management, such as ISO9001/ IATF16949 and AEC-Q100.

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical), Quality Management) or a similar Science field is required.2+ years’ professional experience.Experience proactively identifying improvement projects and lead them to completion.Experience with database management systems, electronic document management systems, and statistical analysis software.Working knowledge of core tools such as APQP, PPAP,SPC as well as Production Control Plans and VDA 6.3 is preferred.FMEA moderation

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the requirements of ISO/ IATF compliant QMS and tools like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.Experience in a complex manufacturing environment (such as semiconductors. pharmaceuticals or similar operations) a huge plus.Strong working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $105,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
