Quality Management Systems Coordinator

About the Role: We are looking for a Quality Management System Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the compliance of Gore Fabric's US Management Systems to internal and external standards.  As a Management System Coordinator, you will be driving successful audits for ISO:9001.  You will participate in developing the management system strategy, identifying areas for improvement, and help drive management system software implementations.

 

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

 

Pay and Benefits:

$95,000 - $110,000 per year Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics. Responsibilities: 

Development, implementation, improvement and continuous reinforcement of established Quality fundamental processes Provide input into the development of the business strategy to ensure compliance Assist in ensuring compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility including an understanding of upcoming changes to the applicable standards Develop and provide a Quality training program to ensure compliance with policies and procedures Support and manage the internal audit program Conduct regional Integrated Management Systems (IMS) reviews Plan and lead internal and external audits in compliance to ISO:9001. This includes leading plant leaders and associates through audit preparation Prepare, respond and manage all external communications applicable to ISO:9001. This includes communicating risks found during audits to cross functional teams

Required Qualifications: 

Minimum of 5 years of experience working within ISO:9001 Quality Management Systems Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing ISO:9001 Certified lead auditor to ISO:9001 Experience being the Quality Representative/ lead 3rd party audits by following developed audit plans, assigning audit tasks, conducting audit meetings, defining corrective actions, and managing follow-up activities Demonstrated interpersonal and team skills, including customer interaction in person, by phone, or email to support audit team tasks Strong computer skills; experienced with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively with minimal supervision Ability to contribute within a team, actively engage and partner with manufacturing, leadership and technical Associates Ability to influence large teams Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Desired Qualifications: 

Experience with ISO: 14001 Environmental Management System and ISO: 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Textile related experience Experience in Lotus Notes, SAP
