Job Description:
The Blackwatch Quality Manager is responsible for quality management for an 80+ employee and subcontractor personnel team for an End User Services federal government contract for the operations and maintenance of standard desktop equipment configurations, including desktop security protection and desktop field support; streamlining processes and procedures with a cloud first objective; AV and video conference AV enhancements; AV and Video Conference Collaboration and Service and Innovation Center management; AV and Video Conference Hybrid Meeting and Webcast Support; AV and Video Conference Webcasts Lifecycle Support; AV and Video Conference Agile Product Team management; and Warehouse Operations management. The Quality Manager takes over the quality management and SLAs for a team who support roughly 13,000 teleworkers where 95% of the personnel are teleworking at least one day a week with 11,000 of those teleworkers working from home five days per week. The team supports 18,000 laptop/desktop computers for employees and contractors. The Quality Manager will oversee quality and process improvement for a warehouse that contains 200 different IT items with approximately 11,000 items tracked and a total of approximately 20,000 items currently stored. The team receives, ships, tracks, maintains, repairs, and/or disposes of IT hardware.

Responsibilities
Manages SLA, quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices, to assure that the team of continuous performance to meet customer requirements.Provides quality management with software development and IT service management projects.Responsible for implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.Ensures products adhere to quality standards, and prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.Works according to deadlines for the delivery of products and trains and manages staff in production practices and quality assessment of products.Tracks products through the Development process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.Performs detailed and recorded inspections of final products, ensuring the products are up to requirements and user needs.Identifies process improvement opportunities and development risk reduction activities.Experience collecting and analyzing metrics for process improvement.Manages quality activities focusing on multiple internal and external teams (desktop management, AV systems administration, warehouse operations, telework coordination, and IT equipment deployment support) to ensure efficiency and compliance with company and client standards.Participates in Program Reviews with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Federal Project Manager contributing to quality evaluation and strategy discussions.Ensures timely preparation and submission of quality deliverables, adhering to client and company quality standards.Qualifications:
BA/BS degree Business, Administration, Management, or Technical related field.Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience providing quality management for government programs.Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt, PMP or quality management certifications are highly desirable.Experience auditing to quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, and CMMIMission focused while building strong rapport and trust with federal customers.Excellent written and verbal communications, capable of effectively communicating with a diverse range of technical and management customers.Skilled leader who can coordinate multiple work streams and priorities in a hybrid work environment.Excellent verbal and written communications skills - a skilled business professional who communicates effectively with all levels of end-users and management.Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
