Quality Manager
MAU is hiring a Quality Manager for Vibrantz in King of Prussia, PA. As a Quality Manager, you will develop, manage, and implement the site’s quality management system. This includes evaluating processes, procedures, and applications that contribute to the site objectives and maintaining an effective quality program, providing continual improvement, standardized reporting, quality assurance and control, reliability, and product/process/supply base quality improvement. You will also be responsible for managing, developing, and coaching the Quality team to train quality concepts and drive the execution of world-class quality across the organization. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k and 401k matching Paid vacation and holidays Paid time off Opportunity for advancement Annual bonus Shift Information 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of management experience Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis, process improvement methodologies, and quality assurance and control concepts and systems General Requirements Excellent communication skills; speak, read, and write in English Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills Proven teamwork and leadership ability Preferred Requirements Lean training and experience Six Sigma Green Belt Certification; Black Belt Essential Functions Safety first; view safety as a core value Identify, report, and resolve safety hazards as a part of the site leadership team Observe safety policies, comply with safety procedures and work instructions, maintain safety awareness, and maintain housekeeping expectations following company protocol Assure adherence to quality procedures and work instructions Assist in proper investigation, root cause analysis, development, and implementation of corrective actions for any potential non-conformance or incident Design and implement long-term progressive quality strategies and objectives that support the company’s vision, mission, values, and long-term objectives Drive quality through the complete product lifecycle from new product conception through delivery and support, including material review board (MRB) and management of change (MOC) responsibilities Identify needs and develop, implement, and administer appropriate policies, procedures, and workflow following industry standards, world-class quality methodologies, and company strategies Ensure quality programs meet or exceed customer, legal, and relevant regulatory requirements and expectations following IATF 16949:2016 and including D/PFMEA, GR&R, Manufacturing Control Plans (MCP), and Value Stream Map (VSM) methodology where appropriate Communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with suppliers, customers, commercial, research and development, engineering, purchasing, operations, logistics, technical service, and other functions across the organization as required Manage, develop, and coach the Quality Assurance/Control team with goal-driven direction, training, and monitoring of performance metrics to improve standards and foster teamwork continually Perform other tasks as required
