Job Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities include:

• Implementing, maintaining, verifying, and validating the Company's SQF System.

• Developing, auditing, and enforcing Quality Control policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality products that fulfill customer needs.

• Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.

• Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

• Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.

• Devising procedures to inspect and report quality issues.

• Monitoring all operations that affect quality.

• Ensuring that all personnel adhere to the established policies and procedures.

• Serving as a liaison with customers on quality issues.

• Providing technical support to Production Operations related to product quality.

• Assisting with training and implementation of all practices and safety.

• Performing visual inspection and analytical testing of finished products.

• Identifying and tracking measurements of quality.

• Assuring the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.

• Developing and keeping current all HAACP, GMP, and Safety programs.

• Reviewing current standards and policies.

• Keeping records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and records.

• Ensuring all legal standards are met.

• Effectively presenting information and responding to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Writing reports and business correspondence.
