What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Quality Manager who will be responsible for managing a team and maintaining the calibration program, corrective actions, returns, deviations, non-conformances, internal audits, training and maintaining QMS.
This is an on-site (Monday through Thursday) position based out of Logan, UT. Some travel may be required depending on business needs and will be communicated in advance.
What You Will Do
Provide on-site support for PPAPs by completing and/or gathering relevant documentation: Part Submission Warrant (PSW), part drawings approved for production, mill test reports, inspection results, validating/verifying FAI samples for compliance with customer requirements.Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to address product/process non-conformities identified internally or through customer feedback/audits.Generate Quality Alerts and participate in daily toolbox huddle to share customer feedback.Develop & maintain SOPs & Visual Work Instructions and provide input to PFMEAs & Control Plans.Communicate with suppliers, issue NCRs, and follow-up to drive a timely resolution.Manage the calibration process to ensure compliance and appropriate recordkeeping.Provide training on the use of measuring equipment, such as programmable CMM, height gage, handheld micrometers, and calipers, and facilitate GR&R studies to measure effectiveness.Provide training on QMS related documents (as required).Monitor control of documented information pertaining to the QMS and record retention.Coach, develop, mentor, and manage 2 or more direct reports.Other duties as assigned.What You’ll Bring to the Role
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Relations, or related field OR technical degree required.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a quality technician/engineer role.1+ years of leadership experience in quality/production manufacturing environment.Certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt, highly preferred.Experience working in an aerospace industry, highly desirable.Strong knowledge and understanding in using GD&T for blueprints.Intermediate skill level in PPAP support.Exceptional interpersonal and people skills, especially with internal and external partners.Ability to lead and foster a positive work environment.Outstanding organizational and time management skills.Apply Now: Embark on a fulfilling career journey with us where your efforts are recognized, and your growth is a priority.
