Summary: Coordinates and supervises divisions inspection and testing procedures for finished
products. Recommends corrective action necessary to insure conformity with quality
specifications and standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate
supervisors.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
\u2022 Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies
and goals.
\u2022 Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel in organization.
\u2022 Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant
managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
\u2022 Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
\u2022 Applies total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting
processes within each department.
\u2022 Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control
over materials, facilities, and products.
\u2022 Designs and implements quality control training programs to key personnel in conjunction
with managers.
\u2022 Investigates and corrects customer concerns regarding quality.\n

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Quality Control Department. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities
include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and
resolving problems.\n

Education and\/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related
