Quality Manager
Job Title: Quality Manager Exciting opportunity to join a company that has a start up environment with the backing of a large stable company. Job Description • Lead the Quality function including Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality and Quality Control • Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets • Lead QMS certification and audit activities (supplier and internal) • Ensure customer quality issues and non-conformances are resolved quickly • Establish Quality Performance data and Key Performance Indicators; provide the Management team with regular updates on Quality activities. • Maintain the quality management system (based on ISO 9001) • Ensures that Management Reviews are conducted in collaboration with the plant manager • Grow the Quality team through hiring and development Hard Skills • Several years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment required • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred but not required • Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development • Experience with the ISO 9001 • Proven knowledge of Root Cause/Corrective Action methodology, 8D, 5 why • Experience with electromechanical products • Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues on the factory floor and seeing them through to resolution • Demonstrable experience with Root Cause/Corrective Action and data analysis • Experience with SAP • Ability to travel Job Type This is a permanent position.
