Job Title: Quality Manager

Overview

Actalent is working with a client experiencing remarkable growth and expansion, and we are excited to announce an opening for a Quality Manager position in Grafton, WI. Over the next 5-7 years, our client plans to open at least 40 new plants to meet the increasing demand for power, providing numerous growth opportunities throughout the organization. This role has become available due to an internal promotion, and it offers a fantastic work environment characterized by a high mix, low volume setting.

ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the QEHS team.Lead the growth of our site's Safety Culture and associated processes.Accountable for site Quality & Environmental Management System (QMS, EMS) and related compliance and goals achievements, including cybersecurity. Provide support for team members to develop and improve systems.Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve the performance of the business using problem-solving methodologies.Provide input for strategic focus and priorities.Assist in new product and process qualifications for both product performance and manufacturability.Manage the company calibration program and oversee the quality laboratory & CMM.Accountable for quality documentation expected by customers, including government quality requirements where applicable.Accountable for the documentation, tracking, and resolution of company incidents related to EHS to avoid recurrence and provide EHS ratings/trends.Support Supplier Qualification and issue resolution.Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service across the Industrial Bearing Division. Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and facilitate quality problem resolution as required.Support the development of a positive, energizing culture.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in leading and developing a team, specifically in the quality department.Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a high-volume manufacturing and lean environment.Minimum of 3 years of experience with PPAPs, particularly in a government-related context.Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years of having direct reports and leading a team.Essential SkillsQuality ManagementISO 9001, ISO 1401, ISO 4501 standardsLeadership experience with at least 3 years of direct reports and team leadershipQEHSExperience in a High Mix, Low Volume environmentMinimum 3 years of manufacturing experienceU.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder due to government-related productsMachining/CNCSafetyTight tolerance partsBachelor's DegreeWhy Join Us

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00
