Job Description
Support all Quality Assurance activities including QMS maintenance, inspections, and process and systems development that drive continuous improvements.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain the QMS and all related systems including NCR, Q-Alert, SDR, VBB, CAR, RCA, 8D, ECN, and internal audit.Supplier qualification and development.Oversee all inspections (supplier, receiving, in-process, and final).Lead all Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.Manage warranty and customer complaint systems.Reduce waste (scrap, rework, and other inefficiencies).Implement and maintain quality dashboard for key metrics.Essential SkillsQuality engineeringLean Six SigmaContinuous improvementSupplier qualityMetal fabricationWeldingAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ISO-9001.Knowledge of mechanical engineering drawing and models and guidelines and standards.Ability to comprehend complex and technical electro-mechanical concepts.Inspection and Metrology experience.Support production: NCR process, waste reduction, safety and ergonomics, continuous improvement and training.At least one-year experience supervising personnel.Experience in managing teams and projects.Experience with metal fabrication, welding, and painting.PDM, MRP, or ERP experience.Ability to review engineering drawings for completeness and accuracy.Solid knowledge of drafting including ANSI Y14.Lean Six Sigma Certified or ASQ CQE.Familiarity with AWS/ASME welding specifications.Possess a strong attention to detail.Be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime if the job schedule requires it.Must be self-motivated and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced team.Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and requires flexibility with working hours to accommodate occasional overtime if the job schedule requires it. The role involves working closely with production and engineering teams, and familiarity with various technologies and equipment used in metal fabrication, welding, and painting processes is essential.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00
