SUMMARY
Quality System Engineers/Managers work with mill operations, technical, and quality individuals to implement quality measures while leading corrective action and continuous improvement activities in collaboration with the Mill Division’s quality vision and strategy. Overall, there is a responsibility for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes. Additional responsibilities include training other employees on quality control matters, designing quality standards, quality processes, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / ScienceTravel required to mill operational locations (around 60%)—covering 5 paper millsPaperboard experience strongly preferredExposure to quality management, quality management systems, leadership and management, customer relations, communication skills, and supplier management. The ability to obtain process information and quality information to develop statistical analysis performance and assist development of corrective action plans is a key function of support.
