Summary of This RoleManages the development, implementation and support activities of quality control systems. Oversees development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company work products. Implements corrective actions necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. Ensures finished work product conforms to company standards and best practices to exceed client quality standards.
What Part Will You Play?Oversees the team responsible for Quality Assurance processes. Designs, sources and conducts necessary training and ongoing communication needed for the team’s success in the production environment.Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and implement quality plans to satisfy clients and regulatory requirements, monitors progress and revises if necessary. Participates/facilitates meetings with team and production leaders to report, analyze and assist in developing process changes to prevent quality issues.Develops, documents and communicates Quality Assurance standard operating procedures and non-conformities. Researches and analyzes utilizing the applicable tools to determine the root cause leading to trending and reporting that result in corrective actions, continuous improvements and streamlined processes.Interacts with prospects, clients, vendors/supplier, regulatory agencies, auditors, cross functional peers and others to provide expert knowledge of the process or area, handle complaints, resolve issues and collaborate on new ideas.Recognizes changes and recommends actions caused by regulations, corporate, clients and governing entities to insure compliance with all applicable requirements.Maintains staff of leaders and individual contributors by recruiting, orienting, training and scheduling to provide coverage of Quality team members for a continuous production operation. Provides coaching, counseling, and education around systems, safety, policies and procedures to team and supports Production leaders in their quality responsibilities.Not an exhaustive list; other duties as assigned.What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's DegreeRelevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.Typically a minimum of 6 yearsrelated professional experience and prefer a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position.
