**Job Description**
Danfoss is seeking a Quality Manager to support operations in Mountain Home. The Quality Manager will provide overall leadership for Quality and Operational Excellence within the facility. This role is also responsible for driving the Strategic Quality Plan defining and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure our continued success.
The Quality Manager will report to the Plant Director and operate daily out of our Mountain Home, AR facility. Domestic relocation support is available. International relocation and work authorization support for this role cannot be provided.
**Job Responsibilities**
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
+ Deploy quality plans at the operational level in conjunction with the Division Operational Excellence group to provide overall quality leadership.
+ Develop short- and long-range strategic business plans to align resources that meet future customer needs and drive superior operating results.
+ Support and administer the Quality Policy, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean strategy processes.
+ Transform the organization from one focused on conventional detection and containment to one focused on best-in-class prevention.
+ Guide, direct, maintain and monitor all activities associated with the successful application of the Danfoss Business System.
+ Provide support in Total Quality Leadership to customers, suppliers, business partners, and the other support service functions.
+ Implement and manage the Quality strategy and processes to facilitate continuous production of products consistent with established industry standards, government regulations and 100% of customer requirements.
+ Drive rigorous metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost that evaluate performance and drive reduction in variability/defects in critical business processes.
+ Develop systems for managing supplier performance. Provide Quality interface, expertise and support to the organization’s suppliers and partners.
+ Build relationships with other Division and Corporate resources to support the identification, review, prioritization and execution of key improvements opportunities/projects to drive results.

+ Must have a degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field of study
+ Minimum of five years related experience in manufacturing plant is required
+ Minimum of three years leading and developing a team of Quality Control, Engineering, or Quality Engineering talent in a manufacturing or production environment is required; five years is preferred
+ Experience implementing quality manufacturing continuous improvement activities
+ Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
+ Proven experience developing, implementing and managing quality strategies in a manufacturing production environment
+ Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders supporting business success
+ Experience working in an ERP platform is required; working knowledge of SAP is strongly preferred
