Job Description
Seeking a talented Quality Manager to support the FTUAS Program, which includes quality and product assurance in a production and fielding environment. Our company is an AS 9100D/ISO 9001-2015 certified business that utilizes these processes for UAS design, manufacturing, production, testing, and operations, including other aerospace-based products. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and sustain Quality Management Systems (QMS) ensuring conformity to U.S. Army aviation programs and industry standards.Support proposal writing, review and development of processes, procedures, and corporate organization.Capture and review quality data to communicate status, document trends and results, and review risks, issues, and opportunities relating to quality management, product acceptance, and Critical Safety Items.Participate in Material and Manufacturing reviews and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).Lead audits, perform risk analysis, and plan processes to improve productivity and delivery of products or services for both developmental and production rate programs.Flow requirements to sub-contractors and develop Quality Assurance Program plans.Ensure compliance with AS 9100D standards and other quality requirements.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of quality experience with knowledge of AS 9100D standards.Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, or a relevant field; experience in lieu of education will be considered.Experience developing Quality Assurance Program plans.Ability to lift 30 pounds and physical agility.Ability to travel occasionally, less than 15%.Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance.Additional Skills & Qualifications5-10 years of Quality Management experience supporting aerospace design, manufacturing, and operations.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to solve problems in a mature and disciplined manner.Knowledge of FAR quality requirements including the development and sustainment of quality assurance plans.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with disparate functional groups.Work Environment
This position is onsite in Madison, AL. The work environment includes a focus on aerospace design and manufacturing, with standard hours and occasional travel requirements. Employees are expected to adhere to all safety and quality standards.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
