Quality Manager

\t\t\t\t\t

•\tHave full responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality control system in compliance with quality standards and regulations•\tLead and promote a culture of quality compliance by developing staff members and communicating priorities and requirements across the organization•\tCoordinate quality control activities with manufacturing managers and supervisors to ensure product reliability, product flow, and the reduction of quality discrepancies•\tDevelop quality metrics and communicate non-conformance issues to management in a timely manner to drive process changes and improve quality•\tEstablish and/or modify quality processes to improve operating efficiencies•\tDrive quality supplier activities to improve quality of inbound materials•\tPerform inspections on both incoming parts and internal assembled product•\tTest and inspect parts/products for dimensional, functional, and cosmetic standards to ensure requirements are met during all stages of receipt, production, and assembly •\tUse measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, comparators, gages, micrometers, etc.) to accurately complete various levels of inspection •\tReview process certification, raw material specifications, and certificates of analysis •\tAssist with identifying and correcting quality issues and communicate to the team•\tHave the authority to hold product(s) not meeting quality standards or that adversely affect overall customer satisfaction •\tComplete necessary paperwork to fulfill customer and quality requirements (e.g., recording test data, quantities inspected, etc.). •\tReview product history records and other documentation for compliance with established procedures•\tParticipate in the calibration and gage control function, as required•\tDocument and correct quality issues by working with the internal teams and directly with vendors/suppliers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

\t\t\t\t\t

•\tBachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required (i.e., high-end custom-building products, industrial pumps, valves, threaded products, fabricated luxury products, etc.)•\tKnowledge of quality management system and its implementation•\tStrong mechanical inspection experience, including methods, practices and tools•\tDimensional Inspection experience of precision machined parts or similar products; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge•\tAbility to read, understand and interpret blueprints and all applicable drawings•\tKnowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gages, coordinate measuring machine, etc.)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
