The Quality Manager Berlin is responsible for

drive Quality for our high volume chemical filling lines as well as our high variation instrument manufacturing the related development activities and all associated processesmanage, train and direct staff in the QA/QC department,establish and achieve yearly goals and objectives for the Berlin QARA teams to align with Global QARA strategic objectives and overall business objectives,implement and maintain the Quality improvement process including establishing multiyear targets for achieving the company’s strategic quality objectivessustain and improve a Quality Management System consistent with ISO9001 and other applicable standards or commercial requirements as needed

and will be located in Berlin

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Cooperate with Berlin bases functions toUnderstand current state of internal and external QualityIdentify improvement potentialDrive improvement in alignment with local, regional, and global business objectivesIncludes but not limited to R&D, Manufacturing, PurchasingWork with regional and global commercial teams to ensure they have product and systems information available for contracts, negotiations, bids, or tenders. Monitor quality metrics and progress toward quality goals including internal, incoming, and external quality and complaint handling process.Lead or participate in quality improvement projects and kaizen events as needed to ensure a robust quality improvement culture.

The essential requirements of the job include:

At least 5 years in Quality functions with close relation to manufacturingBachelors (or higher) degree in Engineering/Science.In depth knowledge of quality principles and technical tools with the ability to train and provide consultation.Experience in high volume mass production as well as low volume/high variation preferredISO9001 auditor qualification (or similar) preferredWillingness to travel up to 25%
