Requirements:
Grade 12 and National Diploma in Food Technology. Certificate in Quality Management. 5+ years as a senior quality specialist/engineer. Expertise in Food Safety, HACCP, Microbiology and industry legislation. Knowledge of NRCS inspections, external regulators, and TRACES system. Valid driver’s license and own transport. Responsibilities:
Conduct compliance tests for export certification of white fish and other species. Lead HACCP team and drive quality awareness in the plant. Ensure products/services meet customer and legal standards. Implement and monitor the quality management system through audits and compliance checks. Train stakeholders on revised quality and food safety principles. Conduct mock recalls for defect preparation. Oversee annual management reviews and documentation procedures. Ensure medical surveillance of employees handling fish products. Manage team behaviour, motivation, and performance.
