Job Characteristics: Establishes quality control guidelines and testing procedures. Ensures that raw material and finished product quality and reliability are in compliance with engineering and product specifications. Reviews quality control practices and procedures to ensure that quality standards are upheld.

Education/Work Experience: Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or related field with strong Chemistry component. For equipment plants, Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. A minimum of seven years of experience managing quality systems with three in manufacturing, Quality Control, or R&D. Mgr Quality II requires 10 or more years of experience managing quality systems with three in a related industry.

Independence level/Reports to: Operates independently within guidelines established by the Corporate Quality Control Manager. Normally reports to Director or Vice President of Quality.
