Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center of providing innovative and comprehensive care to patients and their families. The Manager of Quality for Kidney and Liver Transplant is responsible for the direction of all quality and regulatory related services within the transplant center to include kidney transplant, liver transplant, hepatobiliary services, hepatology services, complex gastroenterology, and pediatrics. Additionally, this position will oversee the implementation and maintenance of the electronic medical record and transplant patient database. The manager will supervise non-nursing staff and will function as a professional and technical advisor to the entire team, other allied healthcare professionals, and directors/managers/clinicians involved in the care of transplant patients. The Manager will facilitate the use of clinical data and research findings for implementation of programs that ensure excellence in the delivery of patient care. Specific duties will include: Develop and maintain a structure for effective monitoring and evaluating quality of care for solid organ transplant and associated programs. Direct the activities related to program quality and regulatory compliance. Supervise the activities of transplant team as it relates to the above. Plan, organize, and direct activities to provide both professional and technical quality and process improvement support. Direct and manage ongoing quality improvement activities and root cause analyses. Work with leadership to monitor HCAHPS and core measures as it relates to solid organ transplant activities and associated programs. Implement and coordinate a continuing staff development program for all direct reports. Support staff and program leadership in preparation for, and continued regulatory compliance for, The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) surveys. Manage program database and act as a liaison for department, vendor and information technology representatives. CPHQ or other Quality Certification preferred + Baccalaureate degree required + Minimum of three years progressive experience in healthcare quality management, including regulatory compliance, i.e. TJC, CMS, and UNOS. Ability to analyze detailed reports, statistical data, and financial reports.
