JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintenance and improvement of data collection methods, analysis and dissemination required to describe quality performance of products and processes.
· Collaborate with management on deployment and continuous improvement of QMS elements adhering to ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 requirements, and customer requirements.
· Responsible for education and employee communication on impacts and responsibilities within the Quality Management System.
· Oversight over development and deployment of quality guidelines and controls during product development and continuous production.
· Oversight for supplier quality activities including qualification and auditing.
· Supports product development through analysis, product reliability data and participation and support of product development activities including FMEA / PFMEA, design reviews and design verification and validation.
· Subject matter expert for product risk analysis in product and process development activities.
· Oversight and leadership of inspection criteria and procedures at all applicable stages of product realization.
· Provide leadership and guidance for root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies including lean and six sigma tools, 5S and processes.
· Provide leadership and guidance to the application of process and product analysis using statistical methods to include product reliability, process capability and statistical process control (SPC).
· Planning and execution of employee training, development, and inner-department succession planning.
· Oversees calibration and testing programs.
· Adheres to plant and department safety rules. Identifies and reports safety problems.
· Safely operates all equipment and tools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be a US Citizen
* Bachelor"s Degree or Equivalent
* First article inspection experience
* Manufacturing background with experience working in a machine shop
· Ability to measure parts with various metrology instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages, etc.
· Knowledge of standard GD&T to be able to interpret drawings and determine part conformity.
· Experience PPAP/APQP is a plus
· AS13000 certification a plus
· Experience in FAIR submittal
