Position overview:
Reporting directly to the quality coordinator, our future manufacturing quality engineer will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting their expectation in terms of quality, certifications, and reactivity within the delivery plan. Ensure deployment of quality indicators and targets in the manufacturing area, and participate in CI activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish direct contact with quality residents at customer sites to find solutions to quality issues reported by the customer. Ensure that quality issues are properly communicated to the factory. If a complaint is received: Conduct an initial field analysis with a multidisciplinary team on the same day as the customer complaint is received. Ensure containment actions in the entire flow (line/factory/transit/Service Center/customer). Prepare the "One Pager" form on the day the claim is received. Ensure internal communication of the complaint (Email/flash quality/problem communication). Validate and send the 8D report up to D3 within 24 hours. If sorting is required externally: Request authorization of the sorting/repair cost and Request the creation of the DA and follow the validation of the PO. Invite an 8D meeting within 24 hours of receipt of the complaint and ensure that the root cause is identified during this meeting. Validate and send the 8D report up to D6 within 15 days. Validate and send the 8D report up to D8 within a time frame that does not exceed the customer's requirement. Communicating the 8D to the APQP and PFMEA manager to make the update. Ensure the registration of the claim on LQTS. Ensure that the claim file is archived on a shared file. Monitor CIPP while analyzing associated defects with daily periodicity.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Bac +5 in quality / industrial 1 year at least of experience within the wiring industry Mastery of 8D problem-solving methodology. Good level of communication Fluency in English and French
