Quality Material Techncian

Actalent is urgently hiring for a quality material technician in the Vandalia, OH area. These are long term openings in a lab production based environment with lots of room for growth. This role requires you to have a highschool diploma and some expiernece handling biological specimen or experience packaging labeling specimen. The ideal candidate would have their highschool diploma and experience handling biological specimen.

These openings are on 1st Shift from 7:30AM-3:00PM and a 3rd Shift 11:00PM-7:30AM and will run Monday-Friday

Job Description

Receives and stores frozen tissue samples, supplies, and/or finished products in conjunction with internal and external requirements.Coordinates timely and accurate flow of materials from warehouse inventory to work-in-process/production areas.Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.Store, issue, or prepare samples, verifying the lot number, quantity, release status, and any other unique identifiers using good documentation practices.Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills, or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy.Deliver materials to processing areas in a timely manner, maintaining the proper flow of raw materials and other time-sensitive supplies.Maintain and sustain organized workspaces for tissue, supplies, and finished goods.Maintain accurate records and reconcile inventory errors.Accountable for personal safety and adhering to the safety guidelines.Must supply materials to functional areas or move to and from incoming areas to maintain efficient shipping and receiving operations.This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA regulations, policies, procedures, or guidelines.Participate in daily stand-up meetings, continuous improvement projects, and adhere to established work practices like Kanban signals and 5S initiatives.
