Join Our Team as a Quality Assessor / Quality Product Engineer in TOLUCA (hybrid role

Role Overview:
As a Quality Assessor, you'll play a crucial role in our Perceived Quality (PQ) process, which evaluates the initial customer response to our products. This involves benchmarking competitive vehicles, assessing both digital images and physical properties, and compiling comprehensive reports to guide our product teams. Your insights will directly influence our vehicle design and development to ensure we exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Segment-Specific Programs: Collaborate with Product Engineering, Vehicle Line Quality Responsible, Vehicle Integration Responsible, Product Design Office, and Product Teams to set PQ targets, provide guidance, and report on PQ status.Perform Virtual Assessments: Utilize corporate CAD systems (Teamcenter, NX, VisMockup) to conduct assessments on new and modified programs.Drive Issue Resolution: Engage in the escalation process to address and resolve issues efficiently.Support Assessments: Conduct both digital and physical assessments, ensuring all non-competitive PQ issues are documented in the Perceived Quality Assessment System (PQAS).Collaborate in Meetings: Attend working-level meetings to provide PQ input and review issues with product engineering and management teams.Education & Skills:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university.Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the automotive industry.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in manufacturing, tooling, design, release, or program management.Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Teamcenter and NX/VisMockup is essential.Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with detailed action plans.Interpersonal Skills: Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills to build effective relationships.Leadership Qualities: High-energy, hands-on individual with a confident presence to effectively sell ideas and solutions.Why Join Us?
