We are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Program Manager to join the growing team responsible for Lucid Technologies programs. Our team leads the integration of Lucid products and technology within other applications, such as Motorsport and OEM applications. Additionally, we are responsible for technical analysis, strategy, and evaluation of external commercial opportunities.
The Quality Program Manager will be the focal point for all quality related efforts, covering engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing efforts for Lucid Technologies Programs. The right candidate must have the academic & industry experience to apply Advanced Product Quality (APQ) methodologies to drive best-in-class program and product quality. The successful candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and will have a strong track record of quality program management, preferably in an automotive or parallel industry environment.
This role will be based in the US at our Newark, CA Headquarters.
The Role:
Manage and coordinate critical advanced product quality activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain. Represent Quality for Lucid Technologies programs for current and prospective customers, including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) & Quality Audits. Employ project management skills related to overall project tracking, deliverables management, action item tracking, meeting minutes, team communications, and presentations; keep stakeholders apprised of project status and defined deliverables.
You bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 5+ years of experience in automotive industry product development and program management, with specific experience in supply chain & advanced product quality. A commercial mindset to achieve best results for Lucid and our customers. Efficiency in a deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments. A passion for and working knowledge of automobiles and EVs. Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems and effectively facilitate the team to a decision and coordinate the action plan. Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work in a high-pace highly complex cross-functional environment. Strong stakeholder management including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders across organizations and borders. Working knowledge or experience with relevant automotive quality standards including but not limited to: ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems VDA 6.3 process audits APQP and PPAP methodologies Lean Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving techniques Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 for software and functional safety
