What you will be doing
Inspection and Verification
Inspecting Shipments: Checking the condition of incoming goods for any damage or discrepancies.Verifying Documentation: Comparing shipment contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices to ensure accuracy.Reporting Discrepancies: Documenting and reporting any discrepancies or damages to Commercial Ops team.Data Entry and Record-Keeping
Updating Inventory Systems: Entering received goods into the inventory management system to keep stock levels accurate (WISE / Ignition).Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed records of all received shipments, including quantities, descriptions, and delivery dates.Generating Reports: Preparing and submitting receiving reports to supervisors or other relevant departments.Labeling and Tagging
Labeling Products: Applying appropriate labels or barcodes to received goods for easy identification and tracking material.Tagging Inventory: Ensuring that all items are tagged correctly with relevant information such as work order number, qty, serial numbers, etc.Storage and Organization
Storing Goods: Placing received items in designated storage areas in a safe and organized manner.Organizing Inventory: Keeping the storage area clean and organized to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory management.Communication and Coordination
Collaborating with Other Departments: Working closely with purchasing, inventory, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.Providing Feedback: Offering feedback to management on ways to improve the receiving process for efficiency and accuracy.Audit Execution
Conducting Audits: Performing on-site audits to observe and evaluate operators' compliance with established procedures and standards.Document Review: Reviewing records, logs, and other documentation to verify adherence to policies and procedures.Interviewing Personnel: Engaging with operators and other staff to gather insights and clarify processes.What We Are Looking For
Computer skills (Data entry, use of Microsoft tools such as Word and Excel, Use of MRP systems WISE, SAP, etc)Attention to detailAbility to multi-taskAbility to work well in teamDocumentation and record-keeping experienceUS – High School Diploma or equivalentOne year of related work experience
