The role you’ll contribute:

The Quality Regulatory and Data Nurse Manager is responsible to oversee the data being collected and managed in the department and facility wide when directed by the Executive Director of Clinical Excellence. He or she will obtain the data from numerous data collection systems including but not limited to dashboards, Epic Reporting and any outside regulatory agencies. He or She will oversee the data and spreadsheets managed by other employees in the department including the data analyst. He or She will interpret data, analysis results using statistical techniques and share the information with the appropriate leadership.

· Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

· Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

· Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

· Acts as internal consultant to the Medical Staff, Administration, all Clinical and Ancillary Departments regarding quality improvement processes.

· Provides orientation and ongoing education for employees, medical staff, volunteers and other partners on quality assurance, performance improvement and patient safety.

· Oversees the QAPI/Patient Safety and Patient Safety Evaluation System (PSES) plans ensuring they are reviewed/revised annually (or more frequently as needed). · Participates in accomplishing the Clinical Excellence and Strategic Aspirations identified by the organization.

· Assists in maintaining department and facility dashboards

· Assists in proactive risk assessment and process improvement activities relate to patient safety including comprehensive high risk area assessments, TJC Sentinel Event Alerts, AHS Corporate Risk Alerts, ECRI Alerts//Recalls, ISMP Medication Alerts and TJC National Patient Safety Goals compliance.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Bachelor's Degree BSN with active unrestricted Florida Licensure Required

· 5 years in clinical healthcare setting Required

· Minimum 1-year quality department experience

· LEAN and Six Sigma experience preferred
