Discover a career in banking at Fifth Third Bank. #LI-WD1 GENERAL FUNCTION: The Quality Review Analyst II, under minimal supervision administer Quality Reviews for Default Loan Servicing, which includes Mortgage and Consumer Servicing. This position enforces adherence to specific Bank / Investor / Insurer servicing guidelines. The Analyst is accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevatingconcerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves resultsby consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: + Performs sample and or in-line first line of defense quality reviews. + Servicing reviews which include but are not limited to: Loss Mitigation Workouts (Approved, Denied, Appeal), Pending Customer Communications, Valuations, Foreclosure Bids & Sales and Claims to determine compliance with specific bank, investor and insurer guidelines. + May re-underwrite Loss Mitigation Workouts to determine workout appropriateness and proper workout structure. + Some experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, home appraisals, title searches, real estate listing, purchase agreements and other documents. + Responsibilities include handling of confidential or restricted information requiring the individual to maintain confidentiality. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions. Properly escalates concerns and personally follows policies and procedures as defined. + May assist Supervisor with training and development of QRA personnel + Assist with projects as assigned by Management. + Interacts with Qualify Review Analysts III to further develop review and investigation skills and overall servicing knowledge. + May assist with audits related to QR as required by Management. + Provide feedback to Management with ideas on process improvement and potential enhancements and or changes needed to current process / policy / procedure. + Performs other duties as assigned by the management team. + Demonstrates and supports core competencies and core values MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: + High School Diploma or equivalent work experience in related field. + Minimum 2-3 years Servicing and or Default Servicing experience. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Strong attention to detail. + Solid mathematical skills. + Computer literate with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access (or equivalent tools/programs). + Systems knowledge Loanserv / ACE / CACS / Mainframe / BITB / MVP / Loansphere. + Working knowledge of servicing processes, rules and regulations including but not limited to RESPA, FFDCPA, GLBA, FFIEC. Federal and state laws related to legal Foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings. + Annual Compliance and Regulatory Certifications as required by Fifth Third Bank. + Professional maturity and ability to work in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality. + Strong analytical and problem solving skills necessary for the evaluation, interpretation and utilization of policies, procedures and guidelines. + Ability to work efficiently with a low margin of error. + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. + Maintains up to date knowledge of existing and emerging compliance, regulatory and bank servicing requirements. + Extensive experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, home appraisals, title searches, real estate listing, purchase agreements and other documents to evaluate a pre-foreclosure remedy. + Extensive knowledge of investor reporting. + Ability to evaluate a customer's situation without judgment. + Excellent customer service skills with both external and internal customers. + Required to know & adhere to FDCPA / Privacy Act / state laws as well as other bank policies and investor requirements in regards to collection guidelines. + Experience analyzing financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, home appraisals, title searches and other documents.
