Site QA/QC Manager - ARB, Inc.

We are looking for an experienced Site Quality Manager for our upcoming APS Power project in Coolidge, AZ.  This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting quality and understanding a project at all levels, also to ensure the project's compliance with all quality specifications.

Requirements

10+ years of QA/QC management related to construction, power plant construction, concrete/civil, petro-chemical, mechanical & power industry, with a minimum certification AWS CWI, ACI training/certification. Implementing project specific quality control program structured for compliance with all applicable codes and the project specifications. Understand all related codes, minimum; ASME, AWS, API, AWWA, NFPA & ACI Excellent written and oral communication skills. Manage field support inspectors. Manage all special inspection city, county & government requirements. Set-up complete project QC tracking system for all activities, weld tracking log, NDE tracking log, rejection rate, civil tracking system Managing all Non-Conformance reports and work with the owner for resolution. Have certification or experience for reviewing/interpretation of all RT film, related to the code of construction. Manage and qualify all welders as well as maintain continuity updates. Manage all weld rod control & storage per QC program. Manage all welding procedures as they are approved by the project owner. Manage all Sub-Contractors and their approved quality programs. Manage all material, and equipment for storage/preservation requirements. Setup all pressure test packages by system. Prepare a complete project turnover package for each discipline. Fully understand safety as it relates to construction activities.

Work Environment

Travel to industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shop Uneven ground level, obstructed pathways etc. Work performed at low and/or high elevations and/or in confined areas Predominately outdoor climate hence could be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc. Various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc. Potential exposure to chemical substances

Compensation/Benefits

Hourly Pay would be in the range of $65-68 USD per hour commensurate with education, skills and experience Paid Company Holidays Paid PTO Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution
