Position overview:
Reporting to the Quality Coordinator, our future Quality Spare Part Engineer will be responsible for facilitating and actively participating in quality improvement groups specifically focused on spare parts. Ensuring strict compliance with Health and Safety regulations within the spare parts, and Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a focal point for addressing customer complaints, warranties, and internal quality issues related to spare parts. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective quality management of spare parts. Review and analyze customer indicators through various portals to drive continuous improvement. Execute and oversee the quality control plan and quality system specific to spare parts. Manage a team of engineers, quality controllers, and technicians, providing training and guidance. Monitor the implementation of engineering changes for spare parts across different projects. Implement corrective and preventive action plans in response to quality defects related to spare parts. Organize and optimize workstations within the spare parts workshop. Define and track quality commitments pertaining to spare parts. Oversee rework processes for spare parts in accordance with established procedures. Monitor the quality of spare part prototypes. Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. Ensure that displayed quality instructions for spare parts align with workstation requirements and that visual aids are in good condition.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Bac +5) in quality/industrial field or equivalent. 5 years of experience in quality management. Proficiency in core tools. Mastery of the 8D problem-solving methodology. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
