Job Summary:

This position will lead, plan and direct activities concerned with the ISO-9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System at the Teledyne FLIR Elkridge facility.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve QMS-related processes to maintain ISO-9001:2015 Certification

Coordinate, schedule, and conduct internal and/or external audits with interested parties

Drive corrective actions to root cause and closure

Maintain document control and procedural updates surrounding QMS

Ensure proper control and maintenance of records with legal, internal and contractual requirements

Maintain the tool calibration system for all existing and new tools

Ensure robust data streams and data analysis to make informed managerial decisions

Conduct periodic Management Review with Leadership Team per ISO_9001:2015 and internal requirements

Ensure ongoing compliance with internal and relevant industry standards

Drive continual improvement through Six Sigma and other relevant quality tools

Conduct or ensure training for new or revised procedures to ensure ongoing understanding

Understand and ensure ongoing interaction of processes and work with relevant process owners to ensure coordinated activity related to QMS

Assess and mitigate risks to the QMS

Assist with Material Review Board (MRB), Inspection, and other quality-related activities as needed

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2+ years of equivalent work experience in a Quality-related role

ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS 9100 Certifications preferred.

Relevant experience in manufacturing environment

Experience with SAP (or similar MRP software) in a manufacturing environment preferred

Highly collaborative, proactive, curious, self-starter, and always interested in learning

Clear communicator with demonstrated effective problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously

Proficient use of MS Office products (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Able to generate meaningful reports and analyze data

Experience with Sharepoint a plus

Able and willing to travel approximately 1 – 4 business trips per year (domestic)

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
