Quality Specialist Job Number: 353498 Category: Quality Inspector Description: Job Title: Quality Specialist Location: Paris, IL Zip Code: 61944 Start Date: ASAP Job Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $26.00 - $30.00/hr DoE Schedule: 6:00am - 4:30pm Keywords: #qualityspecialist #manufacturingsupportjobs #CMM #ILjobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Calibrate equipment, instruments, and devices according to established procedures. * Determine and procure inspection equipment required for validation of customer requirements. * Conduct internal audits. * Maintain housekeeping at and around department. * Apply 6s principles to all areas of the plant.. * Perform any other duties deemed necessary by management. * Conduct routine testing to determine if equipment, instruments, and devices are performing within established ranges. * Prepare documentation and reports including calibration certificates, data reports, written * Maintain Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) responsibilities. * Maintain FAA Chief Inspector responsibilities. * Utilize Gauge Track software to track, schedule, and perform calibration tasks. * Perform regular maintenance as required to ensure instruments and equipment meet performance and quality standards. * Analyze test data to make decisions about the need for calibration, repair, and maintenance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * CMM Programming experience * Able to interpret prints & geometric tolerancing * Must have an overall understanding of how to mechanically layout/inspect parts * Being able to use quality gauges (calipers etc)​ * 5 years quality control or quality assurance. * Basic computer skills. * Understanding of AS 9100 / ISO 9000 quality policies. * Ability to work well in a team environment.
