About the role:

As a Quality Specialist you exercise of judgement and knowledge in records management and compliance.   You will use multiple electronic database systems to review and over-check incoming documents, interface with Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer component of the business and escalate/support compliance issues

You will report to the Engineering Supervisor and be located at Columbia, SC and is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

Build new components in GSQA based on specifications, drawings and BOM requirements.

Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer, Supplier Chain components to resolve issues and recover information.

Clear errors, revise certificate, and perform daily approvals of certificates

Ensure Product Record program is in compliance with NQA-1 requirements.

Oversee and maintain fuel and core component certification procedures and job aids.

Support audits (internal, external and regulatory)

Review documents, such as production and shipping schedules, region orders, and utility requirements documents, to determine product certification requirements priorities and status of fuel shipments.

Collect and verify traceability of product manufacturing data.  This includes reviewing and pulling information from different manufacturing execution systems and verifying proper QC Release was performed.

Review product deficiencies and nonconformance data for applicability and proper closure before shipment.

Certify fuel shipment using appropriate computer software such as TAPRA.

Complete end of region as-built data.

Certify component shipments using applicable software (i.e., GSQA, CMS, WATTS, ENOVIA)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 2 years as Records Technician or experience in both physical and digital record handling relating to compliance in a regulated industry.

Additional years of education creditable as experience

Demonstrated experience in both physical and digital record handling relating to compliance in a regulated industry.

Read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.

Experience with MES production system
