Quality Specialist

Our client is seeking a **Quality Specialist** to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Quality Specialist**
**Location: Onsite in Manassas, VA**
**Contract on W2**
**Shift: 6AM TO 6PM(5 days working a week then 2 days working a week. must be able to work any days of the week)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct thorough and detailed quality inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards before, during, and after production.
+ Perform daily checks and inspections to guarantee food safety and maintain plant infrastructure.
+ Review and verify paperwork of operators to ensure compliance with quality standards.
+ Document areas of non-compliance and ensure corrective actions are completed.
+ Collaborate with production employees and management to resolve any issues during the production process.
**What's Needed?**
+ BS in Food Science or related major, or a High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in the food industry.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
+ Knowledge of GMP and Quality systems.
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
