Ambulatory Quality Specialist Position Summary 

The Quality Specialist is responsible for quality and value-based programs and initiatives across the ambulatory network. Provides management and direct oversight of assigned quality programs and quality metric compliance that create a potential of up to two million dollars in reimbursement revenue for the organization. 

Ambulatory Quality Specialist Position Requirements  

Education

Associates Degree required, preferably in a healthcare-related or business-related field Bachelors degree preferred. Equivalent prior experience in a clinical quality-related position may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

At least 3 years of clinical experience in an ambulatory or hospital setting is required. Familiarity with an EMR is required, Epic preferred. Must be proficient in working with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite. 

Ambulatory Quality Specialist Schedule 

Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday. Additional hours as required

Ambulatory Quality Specialist Benefits 

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
