Quality Supervisor

Description:

PHYSICAL

- Sitting for long periods of time. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.

- Walking; turning head and torso; bending and flexing arms, wrists and fingers. Bending body and continuous lifting of 25-50lbs. Using hands and arms in handling installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

- Must have adequate senses to perform the required duties of the position

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise Quality personnel.

2. Perform specific tasks efficiently and accurately as requested by the Quality Manager before, during and after production.

3. Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment to detect or assess

problems.

4. Communicate all relevant information to the Quality Manager and aid in the determination of events or processes complying with regulations and/or standards.

DUTIES AND TASKS

•\tTrain new employees and current employees on company procedures and policies, including ethics policies and safety measures.

•\tProvide support and guidance to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively.

•\tReview employee productivity and performance to ensure they meet requirements or recommending improvements to meet quality standards.

•\tUpdate SOP’s and review for cGMP compliance.

•\tAdhere to all SOP’s.

•\tParticipate in Sanitation efforts.

•\tEnsures projects are completed on time.

•\tUnderstand fully the intent of cGMP's and stay current with new government regulations.

•\tThe Quality Supervisor is required to lead presentations and cGMP training sessions.

•\tEnsures that regulations governing our business are adhered to and to enforce when needed.

•\tAssists in ensuring that all permits and licenses are obtained and up to date.

•\tAssist in all internal and external audits.

•\tSupervise and perform chemical laboratory analysis as required.

•\tManage electronic and hardcopy files of testing procedures of products/materials.

•\tManage label control process.

•\tReview and approval of production batch records.

•\tAssist in the management of the CAPA system and deviations.

•\tAssist in the management of the HACCP program.

•\tRegulate calibration schedules for equipment.

•\tMaintain weekly reports to Quality Manager

EDUCATION

Required:\tBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field.
