See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:** Position Overview: To provide leadership and business understanding to quality inspectors / water test captains. The Supervisor position is accountable to ensure quality, engineering, and customer expectations are met, while contributing to customer satisfaction by creating value while assuring profitability of the business. **At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.** Essential Functions: + Coordinate in process and final inspection including lamination, T&G, PI, assembly, tests, and final approvals. + Conducts process / product audits to ensure compliance with company and ABYC / NMMA requirements. + Communicate and collaborate to identify issue root causes and implement corrective actions. + Manage Key Performance Indicators through its area of responsibility. + Ensure completeness and accuracy of all inspection records. + Document discrepancies noted during inspection. + Participate in new product development by working with product integration teams, as well as new product core teams. + Support and conduct training to support compliance to standard operating procedures. + Select and develop employees to achieve organizational goals and objectives. + Ensure communications are accurate and timely and reach all employees in the supervisor’s area of responsibility. + Utilize and maintain standard work. + Maintain team members time and attendance records. + Evaluate team members performance **.** + Administer disciplinary actions in accordance with Company Policy. + Related duties as assigned. **Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain** **skillsets/experiences** **are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.** Required Qualification: + Previous leadership experience + Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Experience and familiarity with ABYC requirements + Ability to read and interpret prints + Excellent written and oral communication skills **PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE** + Minimum of 2 year of marine experience preferred + Green belt certification preferred + Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred + Water test captain experience preferred + Automotive, or similar industry quality experience + Experience Auditing manufacturing and administrative processes. + High competency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and Access + Demonstrate successful use of project management tools + Experience writing policy and procedures within a Quality Management Systems **SHIFT & WORK SCHEDULE** + The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Temperature fluctuates with outside environmental conditions, such as air temperature, radiant heat from sunlight, air movement, and humidity levels. + Frequent exposure to high temperatures, including a hot and humid environment, especially during summer months. + Noise level is moderate with intervals of spikes + Required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and utilize other safety equipment and personal protect equipment (PPE) while present on the production/shop floor. + Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, resins, fiberglass dust & cloths, epoxy, composites, and other chemicals. + Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of times. + Ability to regularly bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, reach, climb, and lift or move up to 35 pounds. + Vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The anticipated pay range for this position is $57,700 - $92,600 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
