Quality Supervisor - Warranty

What you can look forward to as a Quality Supervisor - Warranty:

 

 

•    Drive the Warranty Management to Market (settlement with OEM and with the ZF Service network) for products sold by the Region, meeting allocation of responsibilities and commercial settlement of the costs in consideration of contractual obligations.   

 

 

•    Ensure the evaluation of warranty is to required procedures and meeting quality and financial audit standards. 

 


•    Evaluate warranty contract from OEMs and negotiate in joint with KAT with OEM if required by CUDO.  

 


•    Evaluate warranty contract changes and their affect on Region business 

 


•    Provide warranty cost reporting by failure mode to finance / purchasing to support recovery with Suppliers where required by Purchasing. Identify issues caused by suppliers & intercompany

 


•    Ensure process expertise for warranty and recovery within the region.

 


•    Lead unification of warranty management process across region to drive efficiency and matrix support of team across various locations. Support software solutions where feasible 

 

 

 

Your Profile as a Quality Supervisor - Warranty: 

 

 

•    6+ years of related progressive experience

 


•    Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or a related discipline

 


•    Warranty processes and administration knowledge; Commercial vehicle OEM experience preferred 

 


•    Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills

 


•    Solid leadership experience

 


•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

 


•    Advanced knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Quality Engineering. Experience with quality systems (e.g QS9000)

 

 

•    Working knowledge of product line(s) and quality engineering principles 

 


•    Advanced understanding of engineering techniques and principles

 


•    In-depth knowledge of measuring equipment. i.e. CMM, surface measurements, callipers, micrometers. Ability to use and train individuals to use standard shop measurement tools
