What you’ll be doing?We are recruiting a Quality Systems Technician to work with use until May 2025. This is a full time role based in Grasse.
You will contribute to ensure Kerry’s products or services to meet the required quality standards and specifications.
This is a hands-on job in the field which required some background in microbiology
Responsibilities:
QC Check Production Samples: Ensure all production samples are checked correctly and accurately against SAP requirements. Communicate and Escalate Issues: Inform and escalate any products that are out of specification to the site team promptly. Send Customer Certificates: Ensure customer certificates are sent in a timely manner. Internal Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. SAP Support: Provide support in blocking/unblocking products and ingredients in SAP. Investigate Customer Complaints: Thoroughly investigate customer complaints to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Calibrate Equipment: Calibrate lab and factory equipment, such as scales and metal detectors, to ensure accuracy. Maintain Laboratory Cleanliness: Keep the laboratory working area clean and organized. What you can bring to the role Fluency in English, both verbal and written, with effective communication skills. Minimum of one year’s experience in food manufacturing or an analytical laboratory. HNC in Food Technology or a relevant qualification/equivalent experience. Basic Food Hygiene certificate (HACCP and Internal Auditing certificates are desirable). Attention to detail and the ability to understand standards and specifications.
