Quality System Training/Document Control Specialist
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Quality System Training/Document Control Specialist will be responsible for supporting Quality System Document Control and Training activities for Promega Madison location. CORE DUTIES: 1. Execute document control and training tasks within Promega’s ETQ system. 2. Review and approve documents to ensure quality, compliance, and effectiveness. 3. Modify and create procedures, forms, and records necessary for the quality system. 4. Complete actions assigned from audits, deviations, changes, nonconformances, etc. 5. Maintaining training records for all employees who fall under the Quality System umbrella. 6. Assist in third party audits by facilitating the identification and retrieval of documents or records. 7. Provide support to Promega’s Quality System by assisting QA/RA and other departments in improvement activities, as assigned. 8. Effectively work with training staff to manage and deliver internal training. 9. Participate in the testing and validation of Promega’s ETQ system. 10. Present a positive and professional image of Promega training to all internal and external customers. 11. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Minimum one year of experience with compliance in document control and training, especially in a medical device or regulated business. 2. BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience. 3. Experience in Quality Assurance, with understanding of Quality System processes. 4. High attention to detail. 5. Excellent organizational skills. 6. Strong PC skills to include proficiency in Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 7. Strong desire to learn new skills and participate in continuous improvement projects. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Independent, self-starter with proven results. 2. Ability to work and communicate well with other key groups to achieve improvement and operational results. 3. Experience with SAP and/or ETQ software. 4. Multilingual skills are a benefit. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to use computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite), office tools, equipment. 2.
