Quality Systems Administrator Summary Title:Quality Systems Administrator ID:1120 Department:Quality Assurance Description Knowledge, Skills & Requirements : High school diploma or General education diploma Responsibilities : + Primarily responsible for assisting members of MRB (Material Review Board) in determining a path forward for discrepant parts, often in coordination with our customers to receive dispositions for use. + This role requires the ability to read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, and other technical documents and incorporate such knowledge into concise, informative presentations for the customer to review. + Coordination with customers often requires access to designated websites and management of login information across various portals. + Manage the documentation with customer to closure, which may take several back-and-forth efforts in a timely and organized manner. + Provide feedback to engineering, manufacturing and suppliers as required + Sets-up and performs physical inspection of product using mechanical or electrical instruments for inspection - height gages, calipers, micrometers, surface roughness gage, pin gages, etc. + Performs inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and work orders, inspection plans, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions and other related documents + Working knowledge and adherence to AS9100 requirements + minimum, 2 year technical degree preferred + Effective communication skills is a must (i.e. reading, writing, and verbal communication, with an emphasis on email communication) + Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills + A basic understanding of AS9100 preferred + Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel) + Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM & PCMM) experience a plus + Must be US Citizen, also may be required to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance Success Factors: + Contributes to the throughput of product by reducing time discrepant parts are stopped on the production line when issues arise. + Uses time effectively while on the clock + Shows a willingness to learn and contribute to the quality department + Takes ownership for responsibilities and is proactive in resolving issues when they arise.
