ROLE TITLE: Quality System Specialist
DEPARTMENT: Global Quality Systems
REPORTS TO: Manager, Quality Systems
HOURS: 8:00 – 16:30
Working with the Global Quality Systems team to establish and implement an effective, efficient and compliant Global Quality Management System which includes SOPs, Training and Technologies for those processes. Use analytical, technical and organizational skills and experience to facilitate the identification and implementation of process or systems improvements in a rapidly growing and evolving regulated business.
Responsibilities:
Active involvement in the design or modification of Global Quality Systems processes. Manages projects, change controls and key deliverables (initiating change controls, user requirements, developing test scripts, executing testing when required, and implementation of changes) Identifies/Designs/Implements improvements to the Quality processes and procedures. Support Global enterprise Quality Management System technology such as GLIMS, SAP, RemarQue (TrackWise Digital), Amplexor, ComplianceWire, and other Globally used Quality technologies. Drive / lead implementation of Global processes and technologies across Bausch Health Sites and Operations Advise / participate in Non-Conformance, CAPA’s, Investigations, Change Controls and Supplier Management. Work with the business to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes including the rollout of existing or new technologies. Solve business problems and as needed, assists with technical solutions to ensure an efficient, effective, and compliant Quality System. Provide training and support on quality system processes and technologies.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience in the Pharmaceutical or other life science-based industry. Five (5) years of relevant experience required. Demonstrated capabilities in preparing, writing, and presenting technical data. Experience in technologies for eQMS such as Amplexor, Documentum, TrackWise, CATSWeb, GLIMS, SAP or ComplianceWire is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio). Experience successfully implementing change across multiple organizations with cross functional stakeholders is preferred. Working knowledge of Non-Conformances, Investigation, CAPA, OOS, Laboratory Investigation and Auditing Strong technical writing skills, and familiarity with pharmaceutical best practices, benchmarks and latest trends preferred.
Required competencies/Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, ability to influence, attention to detail. A strong solution focus and high attention to details to identify problems and drive for results. Sense of urgency and flexibility. This position may require up to 25% travel. Able to work with multiple departments across the organization.
