THE POSITION
The Quality Systems Specialist will support a wide range of Quality responsibilities across Aftermarket (AFM), Original Equipment Service (OES), and Commercial and Special Vehicles (CSV) businesses within the Allentown location, including:
Certification to ISO 9001:2015. Includes 3rd party and internal auditing.Maintenance and continuous improvement of the site Quality Management System (QMS).Alignment of Allentown QMS practices with facing Corporate practices.APQP process for all new and existing OES product, including customer PPAPs and interface through customer portals..IMDS (International Material Data System) database maintenance.Customer requests for certificates (C of Cs), etc.Maintain CQTS (Continental Quality Tracking System) inputting QNs (Quality Notifications) and maintain the master data.SAP actions for inspection plans, Quality-related inventory management (Q holds), etc.Continuous improvement of our shop floor activities, including quality checks and documentation.Risk assessment and corrective actions particularly related to work processes and requirements.Training for production personnel in existing and new or revised procedures and work instructions using written documentation and oral presentations.WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

Bachelors degree in business, technical, manufacturing or similar.2+ years of experience (5 years preferred) in a Quality Technician or Quality Lead role or similar.Experience with IMDS.Knowledge of and experience working with ISO 9001:2015 Quality standard.Knowledge of quality tools including structured problem solving (8Ds), APQP (FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA).Competence working with Microsoft products including Excel and Word.Competence working in SAP.Ability to travel (domestic or international; expect 10% or less)Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Preferred Qualifications:
