The Quality Systems Supervisor will focus on driving process optimization, system improvements, and data management within the dairy facility. This role has a strong emphasis on utilizing and implementing Redzone software, maintaining and updating forms, tracking assets, managing user platforms, training staff, ensuring calibration accuracy, and supporting the QA Manager in various projects to enhance Food Safety and Quality. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with experience in continuous improvement initiatives, documentation control, audit development, and advanced quality systems.
\nEssential Duties:
\n\nOversee, train, and develop quality and operations technicians to monitor and conduct raw material and finished product quality testing to ensure food safety and compliance with product quality and composition specifications.\nLead the development and implementation of the Redzone Operations and Quality Modules, including updates, asset tracking, and user platform enhancements.\nCollaborate with the site Production, Quality & Sanitation Manager to improve existing product quality testing programs and methodologies.\nEstablish clear areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within improvement initiatives.\nReview and resolve technical issues, recommending solutions or procedural changes as needed..\nDevelop reporting on finished product compliance to specifications and oversee non-conforming product handling across processing, filling, and cold storage operations.\nMonitor and enforce GMPs and Work Rules, ensuring supervisors and staff understand and comply with requirements.\nAnalyze product testing and sampling results to verify the effectiveness of protocols in meeting food safety and product quality standards.\nPartner with plant operations to identify and implement process improvement initiatives.\nSupport the internal plant auditing program, including the creation and maintenance of audits, checklists, and machine learning tools to drive continuous improvement.\nEnsure documentation control and proper data management practices are followed to support regulatory and operational needs.\nAct as an SQF practitioner, ensuring compliance with SQF standards and developing audit-ready systems.\nProvide training and mentorship to staff on quality systems, process optimization, and continuous improvement practices.\nAssist the QA Manager in various projects, including the development of calibration programs, documentation updates, and operational support.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred.\n4+ years of related dairy or food manufacturing experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role.\nExperience with Redzone Operations and Quality Module development and implementation.\nExperience with Grade A Dairy products, milk antibiotic testing, microbiological plating, FT-120, CEM (Smart-Trac)\nStrong understanding of SQF standards, auditing processes, and quality management systems.\nProven track record of process improvement, training, and data-driven decision-making.\nMust be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n\nCorporate Summary:
