Position Summary:
Assist in the coordination of the hospital Quality program. Assist departments and teams with the data entry and analysis, computer applications, and information gathering. Ensures adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed responsibilities:
* MEDICAL RECORDS - Order and retrieve medical records in accordance with hospital policy
* DATA BASES - Establish and maintain data bases accurately with timely updating; run and distribute reports
* REPORTS - Coordinate dissemination of reports and documents
* DATA - Enter, tabulate, and retrieve data utilizing knowledge of various computer software packages
* ANALYSIS - Research information, compile statistics, compute figures, plot graphs and charts
* SUPPORT - Assist Coordinators in applying CQI Tools and provide computer support
* PROJECTS - Assist in the planning and coordination of special projects, events and meetings
* DATA - Assist in the development of data collection tools and data entry forms
* WEB SITE - Maintain department web page
* LOGISTICS - Provide meeting support as needed
* DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops
* POLICY & PROCEDURE - Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality program, safety, environmental and infection control standards
* ADMINISTRATION - Perform various administrative functions such as monitoring expenditures and preparing reports and correspondence; may participate in a variety of research projects to develop service plans; may propose changes to program policies and procedures
