Position: Quality Tech I for VIP Line
Location: Portland, IN
Pay: $20.44 hourly
Shift:  1st shift; 7am-3:30pm

You’ll be reporting to the production shift supervisor. They will be responsible for the first piece sign off and would be heavily involved with measuring, weighing, quarantining suspect product, and assisting with any dry down studies that would be needed.  They would be doing line walks to ensure that gauge sheets, production paperwork, etc. are filled out fully and properly using GMP.  In addition, they would be using the computer to print labels, work in excel, email communications, etc.  They also help the supervisor with end of shift Oracle production cut off to ensure that all product made on a shift has been properly scanned and entered into inventory. 

Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment.  You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line.  You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with prior manufacturing experience.
