The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.


Responsibilities:
Provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processesConduct nonconforming materials investigation and report to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriateCollaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to implement corrective actionsEngages management as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issuesSupport new product quality plan implementationsAbility to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad frameworkSupport ISO 9001 QMSOther research or related activities as deemed necessary
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

High School or equivalentAt least 2 years of work experienceFluent level of English (written and verbal) 

Preferred Requirements: 

Six Sigma

Key Skills & Comptencies:

Strong process adherenceBeginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to work in fast-paced, multi-task environmentSolid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)Self-directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervisionIntermediate problem solving skillsPrior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry) is a plus

Salary: USD 18.27 - USD 27.41 Hourly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
