We have an immediate opening for a Night shift Quality Technician. The hours will be 6PM-6AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

As a Quality Technician, you'll provide assistance in maintaining record keeping, training and documentation, ensure compliance to the Food Safety and Quality Systems of the facility; perform formal GMP audits, training of facility personnel on food safety programs, ensure all cleaning validation and verification activities are consistent with Kerry policies and procedures and federal regulations, maintaining the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP), perform pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas, support with CCP Verifications and calibrations of magnet and metal detection systems to ensure they are in top performance, experience with allergen management, pest control, organic products etc.
What you'll need to be successful and safe: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required. 2 - 3 years of lab and quality experience and/or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in food, pharmaceutical industry, or manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must use logical thought processes and deductive reasoning. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
Salary:
The typical hiring range for this role is $20.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.
