Quality Technician
**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** The quality technician is responsible for inspecting receiving parts from suppliers, inspecting parts coming out of the assembly machines, and inspecting parts being shipped out. Additionally, they will inspect parts recalled from the customer using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. **Responsibilities** + Inspect manufactured and purchased parts, tools, and gauges using established quality control procedures. + Troubleshoot machines and gauges. + Perform gage capability studies and operate measurement equipment for critical dimensions. + Use computers to collect and analyze data (working knowledge of MS Office Suite – Word/Excel). + Validate processes to ensure they produce good products and contain non-conforming material. + Maintain and improve product quality by completing audits. + Assist with maintaining incoming documentation from suppliers (certs, heat-treat charts, etc.). + Observe all safety and health regulations and promote safety throughout the organization. + Communicate clearly and professionally with peers, superiors, and supervisors. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Prefer minimum of 1 year experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment + Required computer skills for analysis work using MS Excel and MS Word. Measurement experience preferred. + Must be capable of lifting 40 pounds and performing close visual work. + Must be able to work 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) with support for 3rd shift (10:30pm-6:30am), including overtime and weekends as required. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
